SELECTION PROJECT Animation

Fight to make your dreams come true! A passionate battle of youthful auditions is about to begin for girls who dream of becoming idols. Their strong feelings are woven into the songs and story as they take on the challenge.

Held every summer, SELECTION PROJECT is the greatest gateway for girls hoping to become idols. It is the dream stage for every girl working towards that goal, and the place where the legendary idol Akari Amazawa first emerged.

Suzune Miyama is one of those who has always longed for that stage. Frail since childhood, she listened to Akari’s songs over and over from her hospital bed. That voice gave her countless smiles and the courage to keep going. She wants to support someone, make someone smile and bring someone happiness. “I want to become an idol like Akari.”

In the final summer of junior high school, Suzune decides to enter the seventh SELECTION PROJECT to make her dream come true. Every girl who takes on the auditions brings determination that will not yield to anyone, years of hard work and extraordinary charm. Yet only a handful of stars will be chosen from thousands of candidates. Now their passionate, demanding battle to fulfil their dreams begins.

Video extras include a collection of music promotional videos and web previews.
