SELECTION PROJECT Animation

Fight to make your dreams come true! A passionate audition battle for girls who dream of becoming idols begins.

Held every summer, Selection Project is the greatest gateway to success for aspiring idols. It is the stage every girl working towards that dream longs to reach—and the place where the legendary idol Akari Amasawa was discovered.

Suzune Miyama is one of the girls who dreams of standing on that stage. Frail since childhood, she listened to Akari’s songs again and again from her hospital bed. That voice gave her so many smiles and so much courage.

She wants to support someone, make someone smile and bring someone happiness. “I want to become an idol like Akari.” In the final summer of junior high school, Suzune decides to enter the seventh Selection Project to make her dream come true.

Every girl entering the competition has an unshakable determination, a wealth of hard work behind her and extraordinary appeal. Yet only a handful of stars will be chosen from thousands of candidates. Their passionate, demanding battle to realise their dreams begins.

The original first-production edition was announced with an illustrated jacket, a special leaflet and a bonus music CD. These limited extras are subject to availability and are not guaranteed with the current copy.

Video extras include music promotional videos and web previews.
