In February 2005, two months after the runaway subway incident, police administrator Shinji Muroi is held in a freezing solitary cell. Young lawyer Kumiko Obara visits him at the Tokyo Detention House, determined to understand how the officer became a suspect himself. Two days earlier, a police officer suspected in a Shinjuku murder fled Muroi's investigation and was struck and killed by a car. The officer's mother filed a criminal complaint against Muroi, giving the aggressive lawyer Haijima an opportunity to pursue him in the name of exposing police misconduct.

Caught between the National Police Agency and the Tokyo Metropolitan Police, Muroi continues investigating after his release despite his suspension. A woman emerges as a lead, while an accusation exposing his past threatens to destroy what remains of his position. With unseen forces obstructing the inquiry, Muroi and Kumiko press on toward the truth. Toshiro Yanagiba and Rena Tanaka star in this 2005 police drama.

This two-disc edition presents the 4K-remastered feature on both Ultra HD Blu-ray and Blu-ray. Each disc includes Japanese Linear PCM 5.1-channel audio and Japanese subtitles.
