TRUMP Series Stage & Musicals

A Grand Guignol of cruelty, by the aristocracy and for the aristocracy. Written and directed as part of the TRUMP series, this 2017 stage production belongs to a gothic suspense saga in which vampires who have lost their immortality are drawn into the legend of TRUMP, the primordial vampire who possesses eternal life.

Dali Delico is both heir to a privileged noble family and a young member of the Blood Pact Parliament, the governing body of the vampires. A scandal leads to his suspension: a human baby girl rescued during an operation against a heretical sect is alleged to be his child.

Although officially suspended, Dali receives secret orders from his superior, Johannes, to uncover the truth behind the disappearance of young vampires across the land. He forms an investigation team with junior parliamentarian Marco and the vampire hunters Shunrin and Utamaro, who have been assigned to the joint inquiry.

Their investigation leads to a social club called the Black Rose House. There Dali encounters Gerhard, his colleague and rival. Though they recognise one another’s abilities, the two remain at odds, unaware that unimaginable malice is closing in on them.

Responding to fans who wanted to see these beautifully staged productions on Blu-ray, Pony Canyon’s Revival programme brings together eight TRUMP releases, including six titles making their Blu-ray debut. This edition presents Grand Guignol with new packaging by TRMN, the graphic designer responsible for Marigold’s artwork.
