VTuber Legend: How I Went Viral After Forgetting to Turn Off My Stream Anime

A sparkling, chaotic VTuber comedy about life on stream!

Can a streaming accident turn someone into a popular VTuber? The sensational VTuber comedy novel receives its eagerly awaited anime adaptation. The original is the popular Fantasia Bunko novel VTuber Legend: How I Went Viral after Forgetting to Turn Off My Stream. Awayuki Kokorone, a supposedly refined VTuber belonging to major agency Live-On, carelessly forgets to end a stream and reveals her real personality: she loves alcohol and girls. A huge backlash seems inevitable, but the contrast wins people over and she goes wildly viral! Embracing her true self, will she race up the road to VTuber stardom? Live-On is full of other shining girls with more than enough personality. Do not miss their chaotic streaming lives. Television anime broadcast began in July 2024.

Regular video extras accompany each volume. First-production extras depend on the pressing supplied; CDJapan marks them as no longer available, and they are not guaranteed with this order.

Story Live-On is one of Japan's leading VTuber agencies. Its third-generation member Awayuki Kokorone struggles to grow her audience, unable to fully express her individuality among the countless VTubers. One day, after finishing her usual stream, she carelessly forgets to switch it off.

Pssht! “Gulp, gulp, gulp... Phew!” “Woohoo! Nothing beats the sound of a tall can!”

Her real self, who loves alcohol, girls and dirty jokes—the complete opposite of her usual refined persona—is exposed to the entire world. A major scandal seems certain... but the contrast unexpectedly makes her go viral. Number one in the trends?! Bewildered by this unexpected turn, she embraces it: “All right, let's start streaming!” The legend of formerly refined VTuber Awayuki Kokorone begins now!

Contents and regular extras Episodes 1–4. Creditless opening and endings.

Conditional first-production extras Digipak newly illustrated by Noko Shiokazu; box newly illustrated by Reina Iwasaki; special booklet; Ending Theme Song CD Vol. 1. These extras, including the CD, are not guaranteed with the standard pressing.
