World Trigger Anime

The eagerly awaited second season of World Trigger makes a dramatic leap forward.

Border is a defence organization established to counter attacks by Neighbors, invaders possessing unknown powers. Osamu Mikumo, one of its lower-ranking members, forms Tamakoma Second with Yuma Kuga, a Neighbor he met by chance, and his childhood friend Chika Amatori. Together, they fight their way through Border's internal rank wars to earn a place on an expedition to the Neighborhood.

Meanwhile, Galopoula, a vassal nation of Aftokrator, one of the Neighborhood's largest military powers, launches an attack. Border's elite fighters rise to confront this new threat.

Disc one contains episodes one to three, and disc two contains episodes four to six. Audio commentary is hosted by Tomo Muranaka, the voice of Yuma Kuga, and producer Nagatomi. Guests include Yuichi Nakamura, the voice of Yuichi Jin, for episode one; Nobunaga Shimazaki, the voice of Hyuse, for episode four; and Nao Tamura, the voice of Chika Amatori, for episode six.

Video extras include special footage from the advance screening, highlights of the screening's stage greeting and a creditless opening. The original first pressing included a special outer case with new artwork by character designer Toshihisa Kaiya, a 16-page booklet and character visual sheets. These first-press extras were limited and depend on the copy supplied.

The cast features Tomo Muranaka as Yuma Kuga, Yuki Kaji as Osamu Mikumo, Nao Tamura as Chika Amatori, Yuichi Nakamura as Yuichi Jin and Nobunaga Shimazaki as Hyuse, among others. Product specifications may change without notice.
