99.9 Criminal Lawyer: The Movie Regular Edition Blu-ray

A major hit that surpassed 2.9 billion yen at the box office and 2.2 million admissions. Those extraordinarily unconventional lawyers take on the remaining 0.1 percent of the facts on the big screen.

Miyama, played by Jun Matsumoto, pursues only the facts and has secured acquittals in cases said to have a 99.9 percent chance of being impossible to overturn. In Madarame Law Firm's criminal-case division, the team continues tackling cases every day under its new head Sada, played by Teruyuki Kagawa, joined by novice lawyer Honoka, played by Hana Sugisaki.

One day, they receive a request concerning the poisoned-wine case that occurred in Tenka Village fifteen years earlier. The mysterious lawyer Nagumo, played by Hidetoshi Nishijima, and his daughter Eri, played by Aju Makita, are connected to it. Nagumo appears kind-hearted, but is he an enemy or an ally? With help from Mamoru, a young man they meet in the village, played by Shunsuke Michieda, Miyama's team thoroughly investigates the old case.

They eventually discover a possibility that seems to promise a miraculous reversal, but it is a carefully laid trap. Could Miyama, who has always pursued only the facts, end up causing a wrongful conviction? Madarame Law Firm faces its greatest crisis. Can the team reach that final 0.1 percent of the truth?
