Following the major success of her fourth album daydream, released in September 2016, Aimer presents a best album bringing together more than five years since her major-label debut. Two releases, a white edition and a black edition, are selected around different musical concepts.

The white edition, blanc, centres on gentle ballads that touch the heart. It features Chouchou Musubi, written by Yojiro Noda of RADWIMPS, the signature song Anata ni Deawanakereba ~Kasetsu Touka~, debut single Rokutousei no Yoru and Akane Sasu, together with two new recordings including Kachoufuugetsu.
