Following the major success of her fourth album daydream, released in September 2016, Aimer presents a best album bringing together more than five years since her major-label debut. Two releases, a white edition and a black edition, are selected around different musical concepts.

The black edition, noir, centres on powerful, emotional songs. It features hits including StarRingChild, which reached number three on the weekly Oricon chart, and Brave Shine, which reached number four, together with insane dream, written by Taka of ONE OK ROCK. Two new recordings include Kogoesou na Kisetsu kara -Extended Version-.
