Akiba Maid War Anime

On moe and violence. Cygames and P.A.WORKS join forces for an original television anime: a tale of working life at the Ton Tokoton maid cafe, set in Akiba in 1999.

Spring, 1999. Dreaming of becoming a cute maid, a girl arrives in Akihabara. At the end of the century, Akiba overflows with maids of every kind. The Ton Tokoton maid cafe, nicknamed the Pigsty, is open for another day of business, oinking away. But the new maid who starts work alongside her is outrageously unconventional, sending everything into a frantic uproar. Favorite maids, trainers and lifeforms from beyond Akihabara appear, while a red bat swings at full force.

This is a wholehearted story of maids struggling at work, dedicated to every master and young mistress. We await your return, oink!

Volume two contains episodes five through eight. Video extras include the textless ending for episode six and the web-preview collection for episodes five through eight. Reina Kondo voices Nagomi Wahira, Rina Sato voices Ranko Mannen, Minami Tanaka voices Yumechi, Tomoyo Kurosawa voices Shiipon, Jenya voices Zoya and Ayahi Takagaki voices the cafe manager.

The edition includes a three-sided case and inner jacket newly illustrated by character designer Manabu Nii, a special thirty-six-page booklet and a drama CD featuring episode 8.93, Go for It! Boookies. The main program runs approximately ninety-four minutes. Product specifications are subject to change.
