Aoharu Railway Stage & Musicals

The latest instalment of Musical Aoharu Railway is a subway spin-off! Following the fifth production, A Love Song for the Rails, the Tetsumyu series brings Chika no Chushin de Ai wo Sakenda Metro to Blu-ray.

Based on the hugely popular comic that turns railway lines into characters, this railway entertainment musical combines songs, dancing and surreal comedy. Since the first collected manga volume appeared in 2009, the original work has earned a passionate following, while the musical series had staged eight productions to enthusiastic support.

This production was performed from December 21 to 31, 2023 at Club eX in Shinagawa Prince Hotel. Bonus footage includes backstage scenes and appearances by the changing daily guests, and a booklet is included.

Aoharu Railway is a railway-trivia comedy created by Aoharu. After becoming popular at Comic Market, it appeared in Comic Flapper, ComicWalker and Monthly Comic Gene before continuing on COMIC BRIDGE online, with drama CDs among its wider media adaptations. When the musical debuted in November 2015, it immediately attracted attention from both original manga readers and fans of 2.5-dimensional musicals. Bonus content, specifications and designs are subject to change.
