ARIA The Best 2005-2025 celebrates twenty years since the series first appeared on television. Thirty-five tracks across three CDs bring together opening themes, ending themes, insert songs and new piano recordings, with cover artwork drawn by creator Kozue Amano.

The first disc contains fourteen opening and ending themes. Five songs from ARIA The Avvenire, The Crepuscolo and The Benedizione appear on an ARIA-titled album for the first time, having previously been available on the individual artists' releases. The second disc collects thirteen insert songs, including Barcarolle, Symphony, Coccoro and Lumis Eterne.

Composer, arranger and pianist Mina Kubota performs eight newly recorded versions of her own works on the third disc, ARIA Piano Collection III: Espero -Hope-. Undine, Euphoria, Spirale and Felicita are among the melodies revisited in this piano program, extending the series' theme-song and insert-song collection beyond the earlier ARIA The Box.
