BanG Dream! Animation

BanG Dream! Episode of Roselia II: Song I am., first released in Japanese cinemas on June 25, 2021, comes to Blu-ray in a Director’s Cut that re-edits the theatrical footage. BanG Dream! is a next-generation girls’ band project linking its characters with live performances. Roselia’s striking presence is strengthened by its activities as a real band; this film rebuilds the members’ story for theatrical animation.

After overcoming a series of trials, Roselia have vowed to perform at FUTURE WORLD FES., and autumn has arrived. Lisa has grown through writing the lyrics to Promise. Yukina and Sayo go out to see the autumn leaves and put their determination into illustrated letters addressed to their future selves. Driven by the wish to do something for Roselia, Rinko tries to compose a new song. Ako begins thinking about their goals and suddenly feels uneasy: the quests still ahead are the contest, the competition—and FUTURE WORLD FES. What view will the five of them find beyond the festival?

The collection includes the full-length recording and music video of Sprechchor, a major milestone song for the band that appeared in the smartphone game BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!, together with the film’s score. An illustrated slipcase and a reduced-format copy of the theatrical-production script complete the package. Because the script reflects the film during theatrical production, some passages differ from the included Director’s Cut. First-production copies, while supplies last, also contain a jacket-design sticker.

For more of Roselia’s world and story, the separately sold Episode of Roselia I: Promise was released on the same day as this edition.
