Yumemita no Ayumi traces Mugendai Mewtype’s journey from their legendary debut concert through their third live show. The collection brings together Metamorphose, held at Yokohama 1000 CLUB on 24 August 2024; the evening performance of Discovery☆Journey at Zepp Shinjuku (Tokyo) on 16 February 2025; and the Tokyo performance of Fleeting Moment at Spotify O-EAST on 7 May 2025.

The debut show, Metamorphose, combined the five original songs released at that point with five covers, including Poppin’Party’s Tokimeki Experience!, Hello, Happy World!’s Egao no Orchestra! and a piano-ballad arrangement of MyGO!!!!!’s Hitoshizuku. Yuno Sengoku’s DJ time, a cover-song medley sung by the members other than lead vocalist Arale Nakamachi, and the first performance of Kohaku added up to a remarkably substantial live debut.

Discovery☆Journey is represented by the complete sixteen-song evening show, carrying forward the momentum of the daytime performance with a programme focused on the band’s future. It opens with their first single’s title track, Komyu Chakka Fire!, which would become a live staple. The set also includes TRASH LIFE, whose music video was created by Ritsu Minetsuki; a full-band cover of MyGO!!!!!’s Hitoshizuku that demonstrates their growth since the debut; and an acoustic cover of Ave Mujica’s Georgette Me, Georgette You, with a chorus arrangement by Yuno Sengoku. Their own creativity shines throughout the heated performance.

Fleeting Moment toured Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka, and this release captures its final Tokyo show. The band arrived with their second single, Hi-Vision, whose title track was their first tie-in song and the theme for the apocalyptic visual novel VIRTUAL GIRL @ WORLD’S END. Sixteen songs channel the energy they had built up so far, culminating in the first performance of Gradient, a song vocalist Arale Nakamachi challenged herself to write and compose. It makes another memorable milestone in the band’s development.
