BOFURI I Don't Want to Get Hurt So I'll Max Out My Defense Anime

Together, we can become even more absorbed. The eagerly awaited second season of the enormously popular BOFURI begins! Originating on Shosetsuka ni Naro, the stress-free adventure of a girl who hates pain and invests all her points in defence returns. Following the acclaim for the first television season, the no-damage adventure is back. The original BOFURI: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, so I'll Max Out My Defense surpassed 200 million views on Shosetsuka ni Naro and received successive reprints after publication through Kadokawa Books. Set in the VRMMO NewWorld Online, this no-damage adventure follows Maple, who spends all her status points on defence, and her companions, each with their own distinctive quirks. At the original announcement, the series had exceeded 2.1 million copies, including electronic editions. Its manga adaptation was also serialised to acclaim in Monthly Comp Ace. The colourful members of the three guilds Maple Tree, Order of the Holy Sword and Flame Emperors embark on adventures on new game floors, with broadcasting beginning in January 2023. The original announcement also promoted a separately sold, strictly quantity-limited volume-one edition with a Maple and Sally body-pillow cover newly illustrated by original character designer Koin. That volume-one edition and its cover are not included in this regular volume-three listing. The first-production contents advertised for each volume include an outer case newly illustrated by Koin and a digipak newly illustrated by character designer Kazuya Hirata. Volume one additionally advertised a booklet containing a new novel by original author Yuumikan; this was a volume-one feature, not a novel promised with volume three. Each volume also offers regular video extras.

Story Maple is absorbed in the VRMMO NewWorld Online. Having spent all her points on defence, she initially seemed destined for incredibly tough endurance play. Instead, she acquired several fearsome skills and swept through her opponents repeatedly! Her abnormal fighting style made her a famous player treated as a final boss. Maple Tree, the guild she founded with her best friend Sally, gathers distinctive, dependable companions, and their bonds grow stronger. And then... New floors are implemented in NewWorld Online! Former rivals join forces, new companions arrive, and new events take place!? Maple and the others are surely set to run wild here too...? The world expands, and the adventures become even more enjoyable!
