Brave Police J-Decker Animation

Protect the peace with robot detectives who have a heart. First broadcast in 1994, Brave Police J-Decker is the fifth entry in the Brave Series. This anniversary collection brings the opening half of the adventure back in a high-definition remaster.

In the twenty-first century, scientific progress has given rise to violent crimes involving robots, the appearance of biological monsters and disasters beyond anything previously imagined. The Metropolitan Police Department responds by establishing Brave Police, a team of robot detectives equipped with the advanced artificial intelligence known as Super AI. Working alongside elementary-school pupil Yuta Tomonaga, whose influence helped bring Super AI into being, these robots with hearts take on one difficult case after another.

The illustrated presentation is accompanied by an explanatory booklet and a Character & Art File. The booklet explores the series through an interview reconstructed from DX BRAVEST, a production roundtable, character and early design material with commentary, mechanical designs, episode introductions and liner notes, illustrations and the broadcast list. Bonus programmes include creditless opening and ending sequences, promotional spots and a commentary revisiting the first episode.
