Burning Kabaddi Anime

Welcome to a world on fire! Kabaddi is no joke: it is a passionate sport. Burning Kabaddi, the hottest sports manga about the remarkably famous yet minor sport of kabaddi, becomes an anime.

Tatsuya Yoigoshi was a celebrated soccer player known as Unstoppable Yoigoshi, but he cuts ties with sports when he enters high school. One day, members of a sports club come to recruit him. In their sport, players cooperate to seize opponents who invade their territory and drag them down to secure victory. It could be called a running martial art. The sport's name is kabaddi!

This Blu-ray contains episodes nine to twelve. The package features a three-sided case and newly illustrated anime cover artwork. A special booklet includes an original four-panel manga drawn by creator Hajime Musashino and an interview.

Audio extras are episode-nine commentary with Tatsuhisa Suzuki and Shunsuke Takeuchi, and episode-twelve commentary with Yuma Uchida and Natsuki Hanae. Video extras include the main promotional video and a Blu-ray commercial.

The cast features Yuma Uchida as Tatsuya Yoigoshi, Nobuhiko Okamoto as Masato Ojo, Gen Sato as Soma Azemichi, Makoto Furukawa as Kei Iura, Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Kyohei Misumi, Shunsuke Takeuchi as Shinji Date, Shinichiro Kamio as Nobutaka Ban, Wataru Komada as Ryuta Seki, Ayumu Murase as Yuki Hitomi, Hiroki Yasumoto as Ayumu Rokugen, Kenichi Suzumura as Ren Takaya, Natsuki Hanae as Manabu Sakura and Soma Saito as Hiro Uto.
