Classroom of the Elite Anime

The long-awaited second season of Classroom of the Elite finally begins! This immensely popular school series had surpassed 6.5 million copies in circulation at the time of the announcement.

The second Blu-ray volume of the television anime based on MF Bunko J's popular school drama contains episodes 5–7.

Story: Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High School boasts a 100% progression-to-education and employment rate, and students receive monthly points equivalent to ¥100,000. Though it seems a paradise, it is really a school of absolute meritocracy, where favourable treatment is reserved for some outstanding students. Kiyotaka Ayanokoji, assigned to Class D with the problem students, helps classmate Suzune Horikita pursue promotion to Class A. After the survival examination on an uninhabited island, they enjoy a short break on a luxury cruise ship. A new special examination mixing the different classes is about to begin there. For their class, for their group or for themselves? As the other classes make unsettling moves, the disunited Class D is placed in a crisis. Can students caught between trust and suspicion uncover the truth?

Main programme: episodes 5–7. Regular extras: web previews and the creditless ending sequence. The catalogue also lists audio commentary as a bonus; its separate audio

The original first-production campaign advertised four extras for this volume: an all-volume storage box newly illustrated by original character designer Shunsaku Tomose; an outer case newly illustrated by Shunsaku Tomose; a digipack newly illustrated by character designer Kazuaki Morita; and a special booklet. The catalogue marks these first-production extras as no longer available. They are described here as historical campaign details and are excluded from the promised contents of this regular edition.
