Dekin no Mogura Animation

Somewhere between this world and the next, an uncannily death-defying story is about to unfold. Dekin no Mogura, from Hozuki’s Coolheadedness creator Natsumi Eguchi, brings a darkly funny view of the mysteries of a world where people and spirits cross paths.

The suspicious, self-proclaimed sage Mogura has been banned from the afterlife for a certain reason, leaving him unable to die. Hoping to return there, he gathers the lights carried by ghosts in his lantern. Those who meet him apparently begin to see strange things themselves. An unsettling yet humorous tale of the supernatural begins.

Volume one contains episodes one through six, with creditless opening and ending sequences. This first-press edition includes a case newly illustrated by character designer Yoko Tanabe, an all-volume storage box newly illustrated by original creator Natsumi Eguchi, a booklet and a separate original soundtrack CD with 42 tracks.
