Dekin no Mogura Animation

Somewhere between this world and the next, an uncannily death-defying story is about to unfold. Dekin no Mogura, from Hozuki’s Coolheadedness creator Natsumi Eguchi, brings a darkly funny view of the mysteries of a world where people and spirits cross paths.

The suspicious, self-proclaimed sage Mogura has been banned from the afterlife for a certain reason, leaving him unable to die. Hoping to return there, he gathers the lights carried by ghosts in his lantern. Those who meet him apparently begin to see strange things themselves. An unsettling yet humorous tale of the supernatural begins.

Volume two contains episodes seven through twelve. The case features a new illustration by character designer Yoko Tanabe, and a booklet is included. Bonus footage gathers promotional videos and commercials, along with a special video from Natsumi Eguchi’s fifteenth-anniversary original-art exhibition, Between This World and the Next.
