Thousands of years have passed since a mysterious phenomenon turned all humanity to stone in an instant. Senku, a natural-born science enthusiast with superhuman intellect, awakens. Faced with a Stone World where civilization has collapsed, he resolves to restore the world through science and gathers new companions to build the Kingdom of Science.

Fire, iron, electricity, glass, mobile phones: Senku and his friends race through two million years of scientific history, from the Stone Age to modern civilization. Standing in their way is the Empire of Might, led by Tsukasa Shishio, the strongest high-school student among all primates. Seeking to purify humanity, Tsukasa tries to halt scientific progress through overwhelming physical strength.
