Dropout Idol Fruit Tart Volume 3 Blu-ray

We're becoming idols! The four-panel comedy about struggling idols by Sou Hamayumiba, creator of Hanayamata, becomes a television anime.

The long-awaited adaptation of the struggling-idol story serialised in Manga Time Kirara Carat! Sou Hamayumiba, known for the hugely popular Hanayamata and its television adaptation, moved to Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Carat for this story. Residents of Nezumi House, all entertainment-industry underachievers, repeatedly pick themselves up as idols to save their home from demolition. With its cast of distinctive personalities, this fresh idol story sets itself apart from recent idol works. Broadcasting began in October 2020.

The original release advertised generous first-production extras for fans: a special box newly illustrated by original creator Sou Hamayumiba, a digipak newly illustrated by character designer Sumie Kinoshita, a special booklet and an original bonus CD containing insert songs sung by the idols in the programme. The listed CD includes three songs and two instrumental tracks. These were first-production extras; that offer has ended, and their inclusion in current stock is not guaranteed. Regular video extras for Volume 3 are OchiFuru Station episodes 9 to 12 and the commercial collection.

Story: First-year high-school student Ino Sakura moves to Tokyo hoping to become an idol. Together with Nezumi House residents Roko, an unsuccessful former child actor, musician Hayu and model Nina, she forms the new idol unit Fruit Tart. To save Nezumi House from demolition, these entertainment-industry underdogs keep picking themselves up through their idol activities! Contains Episodes 9 to 12.
