Easygoing Territory Defense by the Optimistic Lord Vol. 1 Blu-ray

Reincarnated as the fourth son of a marquis, Van is praised as a prodigy until his magical aptitude is revealed at the age of eight. His family considers production magic useless and sends him away to govern an impoverished frontier village. Van discovers that his supposedly inferior gift can create almost anything when he has the necessary materials. His plan for a comfortable, enjoyable home gradually transforms the settlement into a thriving fortified city.

Volume 1 contains episodes 1 through 6 of the fantasy anime based on So Akaike's novels, illustrated by Kururi. Yumi Uchiyama voices Van, alongside M.A.O, Mariya Ise, Yoko Hikasa, Shion Wakayama, Kenyu Horiuchi, Chikahiro Kobayashi, Makoto Furukawa, Wakana Kuramochi, Gen Sato and Nonoka Obuchi. NAZ produces the animation.

The Blu-ray includes a lyric opening video and the first, second and third promotional videos. The illustrated slipcase by Kururi houses a specially designed tall case, a booklet containing a newly written novel by Akaike and a connecting wooden stand featuring Van, Till and Khamsin. The disc offers Japanese audio without subtitles.
