Easygoing Territory Defense by the Optimistic Lord FlyingDog Anime Music

Rei Nakashima presents Okirakuze~shon, the opening theme for Easygoing Territory Defense by the Optimistic Lord, the anime adaptation of a fantasy series with more than 2.5 million copies in circulation. Written and composed by renowned hitmaker Kenichi Maeyamada, also known as Hyadain, the song leads Nakashima's third single. The coupling song Moshimo Shi is the theme for her CBC Radio programme, Rei Nakashima no Kyo mo Hanamaru! Radio.

The story began on the web novel platform Shousetsuka ni Narou before appearing as an Overlap Novels book in September 2021, followed by a Gardo Comics manga in February 2022. Its protagonist's spirited determination in every situation won readers over. The work placed third in the standalone-book category of the Next Light Novel Award 2022 and received recognition in the 2025 Rakuten Kobo eBook Awards category for comics readers want to share with the world.

Reborn in another world as the fourth son of a marquis, Van was hailed as a prodigy from an early age. But at eight he receives production magic, a power regarded as useless in that world. His father declares him unfit for the nobility and banishes him to govern a nameless frontier village. Yet this supposedly poor ability has extraordinary potential: with the right materials, he can make anything. Determined to turn the village into a place where life is easier and more enjoyable, Van sets it on a path from a small, impoverished settlement to a city drawing people from far and wide.

From Seto in Aichi Prefecture, Rei Nakashima became interested in anime and singing after watching Cardcaptor Sakura as a child. She entered the voice actor, singer and singer-songwriter category of FlyingDog's Inucon! audition in 2022 and won the grand prize. Her pure, soft voice and naturally unpretentious personality are central to her appeal. Through her music and singing, she hopes to share love with many people and become part of someone's happiness.
