Gothic wa Mahou Otome celebrates its fifth anniversary with a monthly character-song project for the five maidens, five demons and academy maidens of CAVE’s smartphone shooting RPG. Its fifteenth release features Kalmia, a demon skilled at saying just what others want to hear and slipping into the gaps in their hearts. When she sees a mouse, however, she turns into a kitten.

Kalmia is cute enough to make you want to pamper her like a kitten, yet she pampers you like a devil. Following Luccica’s release, the partnership of Ryu and MK brings energy to the project’s final stretch. Their 2000s-style Eurobeat unleashes another ultra-catchy melody aimed straight at the cerebral cortex. A cat’s feelings, a demon’s feelings and Kalmia’s feelings all fill this meowing barrage: surely her master can take it all in?

A special alternate performance features Daisuke Matsumoto, a composer from the game itself, singing with enthusiasm.
