Gothic wa Mahou Otome City Connection Game Music

Gothic wa Mahou Otome marks its fifth anniversary with a character-song project celebrating the five maidens, five demons and academy maidens of CAVE’s smartphone shooting RPG. The fourteenth release features Luccica, the wind demon who controls a vacuum. Frightened by almost everything and uncomfortable when people approach too forcefully, she also has a dreamy, imaginative side.

Timid and nervous, yet determined to do her best for her master, Luccica lets her romantic magic burst through an irresistibly catchy melody. The tearful bubblegum-dance sound comes from Ryu, a composer who loves the game and whose EDP previously collaborated with it in summer 2018. With MK joining as arranger, this release recalls that collaboration’s dance-music energy and fills the listener’s mind with Luccica.

A special alternate performance features Daisuke Matsumoto, a composer from the game itself, singing the song with enthusiasm.
