In a world where magic has replaced declining technology, humanity created the forbidden biological weapons known as Gears. Their rebellion led to the devastating Crusades. Although humans narrowly survived, the wounds remain long after the war ended. Sin Kiske, born to a human father and a Gear mother, travels to the wedding of his parents, Ky Kiske and Dizzy. Their union represents a once-unthinkable step towards coexistence, but the celebration is interrupted by a mysterious girl who despises Gears. Her encounter with Sin threatens to shake the world again.

Guilty Gear Strive: Dual Rulers brings the fighting-game universe to animation by SANZIGEN, directed by Shigeru Morikawa with original character designs by Daisuke Ishiwatari. Issei Miyazaki voices Sin, Jouji Nakata voices Sol Badguy, and Yui Ishikawa plays Unika. The cast also includes Takeshi Kusao as Ky, Kazue Fujita as Dizzy, Hiromi Igarashi as Jack-O, Aya Suzaki as Elphelt Valentine, Megumi Han as Ramlethal Valentine, Manaka Iwami as Bridget, Mayumi Asano as Baiken, Norio Wakamoto as Johnny, Tetsu Inada as Leo Whitefang, Junichi Endo as Vernon and Yasuhiro Mamiya as Neville Hammer, with narration by Tomokazu Sugita.

The complete series is collected on one Blu-ray with creditless opening and ending sequences and promotional videos. An outer case and a booklet containing episode summaries complete the box.
