I'm Quitting Heroing — Blu-ray Box, Part 1

Reforming an organisation while keeping his identity secret! The strongest hero's next workplace is the Demon Queen's castle.

The original novel won the grand prize in the otherworld fantasy category of the Second Kakuyomu Web Novel Contest. This story of the strongest hero rebuilding the Demon Queen's army becomes a television anime! I'm Quitting Heroing: My Next Workplace Is the Demon Queen's Castle is published by Fantasia Bunko and Kadokawa Books, with a manga adaptation serialised on Young Ace Up. After saving the world, the strongest hero, Leo, has nowhere left to go. His overwhelming strength is no longer wanted in a peaceful world. The workplace he eventually finds belongs to his former enemies: the Demon Queen's army. The retired hero's story of rebuilding that battered army began broadcasting in April 2022.

The original first-production announcement offered a novel newly written by Quantum, a three-sided box illustrated by original character artist Hana Amano, and a digipak illustrated by character designer Yuki Nakano. The release consists of upper and lower boxes, with a newly produced animation included as a regular bonus. The lower box's separately advertised first-production bonus was a CD of the web radio programme.

Story Hero Leo saved the world from the Demon Queen's invading army. Yet his strength also became a threat to the humans who now enjoyed peace, and he was ultimately banished from the holy capital. Without status, honour or a place to belong, the wandering hero arrives at the battered Demon Queen's army. Whether driven by resentment toward humanity or desperation, Leo conceals his identity from the Demon Queen and joins the Four Heavenly Kings in rebuilding the army. What awaits beyond the retired hero's immense undertaking?

Regular video extras: the newly produced animation Don't Lose Sight of the Purpose of a Training Trip, Part 1, and promotional videos and commercials collection 1. In the bonus animation, Leo goes on a training trip with Echidna and the Four Heavenly Kings. They arrive at a deserted hot-spring inn run by an unsettling proprietress. That night, while the group deepens its friendship, Echidna suddenly disappears from their midst.

Historical first-production extras, not guaranteed with this regular listing The first-production package additionally offered a 70-page novel by Quantum: Prologue; Good Work Begins with a Fulfilling Private Life; I Want to Work Even if It Means Overtime!; Don't Let It Pile Up; and The Demon Queen's Troubles. It also offered Hana Amano's illustrated three-sided box, Yuki Nakano's illustrated digipak, a soundtrack CD with ten tracks and, and a 60-page booklet. These limited-production extras ended when supplies ran out. This listing guarantees the regular Blu-ray contents above, not the limited CD, books or special packaging.
