I'm Quitting Heroing: My Next Workplace Is the Demon Queen's Castle is published by Fantasia Bunko and Kadokawa BOOKS, with its popular manga adaptation serialised on Young Ace UP. After saving the world, the strongest hero Leo finds he has nowhere to go. His overwhelming strength has no place in a peaceful world. The job he finally finds is with his former enemy, the Demon Queen's army! This story of a retired hero rebuilding a battered army began television broadcasting in April 2022.

The original first-production edition was announced with a new novel by Quantum and a lavish assortment of extras, while new animation is a regular video extra. Its slipcase was newly illustrated by original character designer Hana Amano, with a new Quantum novel. The second box also originally included a web-radio disc. These first-production physical extras are now listed as no longer available by the exact-edition specialist catalogue and are not promised with the current regular edition.
