Insomniacs After School Movies

Insomniacs After School, the film released in cinemas on June 23, 2023, arrives on Blu-ray.

In Nanao, Ishikawa Prefecture, first-year high-school student Ganta Nakami struggles with insomnia. One day, in the school’s unused observatory, he happens to meet his classmate Isaki Magari, who shares the same difficulty. Although they have barely spoken in class, the secret of their insomnia—which neither has told anyone—connects them, and they gradually begin to open up to each other.

Then their unauthorised use of the observatory is discovered, putting them at risk of being barred from the building. Seeing Isaki’s lonely expression, Ganta decides to revive the dormant astronomy club so he can protect the place where they find peace.

The edition includes making-of footage, a collection of unreleased scenes, stage greetings from the May 17, 2023 completion screening and the June 24 release celebration, and a collection of trailers.
