Kamitsubaki City Under Construction Anime

Seven years after a disaster devastated human civilisation, Kamitsubaki City is achieving a seemingly miraculous recovery through advanced science. Beneath that prosperity, monsters called Tesseractors emerge from human malice and desire, bringing strange disturbances to the city. Only the voices of five girls known as the Witchlings can resist them. Their songs become magic, and their fight to preserve the city's peace becomes a struggle against the fate of a broken world.

Volume 2 contains episodes 5-8. KAF voices Kafu Morisaki, RIM plays Rime Tanioki, Harusaruhi plays Haru Asanushi, Isekaijoucho plays Sekai Yorukawa, and KOKO plays Koko Rinne. Ayane Sakura appears as Laplace, Miyu Tomita as Hastur, Yohei Azakami as Agni, Shuichiro Umeda as Anemos, and Mai Todo as Kugel. Shizuka Ito voices the reconstruction section chief, while Hikaru Midorikawa appears in a mystery role.

Created from KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO and PIEDPIPER's project, with world-building and original scenario supervision by Souki Tsukishima, the series is directed by Kodai Kakimoto and animated by SMDE. PALOW. supplies the character designs and Kento Asahina composes the music. A promotional-video collection accompanies the 94-minute programme, with Japanese Linear PCM 2.0 audio and no subtitles.
