We placed twentieth in the men's category of Takarajimasha's Kono Manga ga Sugoi!2021. It is an unassuming ranking, but I am happy. And the first three volumes occasionally receive unassuming reprints, too. Once my manga finally earned enough for us to get by, my wife quit her job and spent her days lounging around at home. Then one day she suddenly sat up and said, 'I want a baby.' The story begins with the birth and a life of parenting filled with one diagnosis after another. In Volume4, my wife and I argue about whether to give our eldest son, now in fifth grade, a smartphone; celebrate and despair over his cram-school results; worry about our younger son's school; have a disagreement over YouTube; take turns being the bad guy; try bone-conduction earphones; and wonder how old the children should be before we stop playing Santa. This is autobiographical manga presented as fiction based on the private life of a certain small-scale manga artist.

This Japanese paper edition contains 128 pages and was released in Japan on May 12, 2021.
