KC Deluxe The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest Vol. 1 is an official Japanese paper manga volume by Yuki Monji, Alto, Yunagi, published by Kodansha under the KC Deluxe label.

Although he has supported the crown prince from behind the scenes, court magician Alec is dismissed as useless and banished. An invitation from Yorha, his former magic academy companion and a prodigy in support magic, brings back together the legendary party that once set a dungeon-clearing record! This manga adapts a classic fantasy adventure that ranked first in Shosetsuka ni Naro's quarterly rankings as of December 17, 2020. Shosetsuka ni Naro is a registered trademark of HinaProject Inc. We don't need a useless mage who can only use support magic. You're fired. That is the declaration of banishment delivered to Alec, the court magician who supports the crown prince from behind the scenes. After losing his job, he is approached by his former companion Yorha, a young woman with a genius for support magic. I need your strength. Let's start again... and pick up where we left off that day. And so the legendary party that set a dungeon-clearing record during their magic academy days reunites!
