Koji Kikkawa Live Tour 2022-2023 OVER THE 9 Blu-ray
吉川晃司/KIKKAWA KOJI LIVE TOUR 2022-2023 "OVER THE 9" 通常盤
The latest live recording captures the two-day Nippon Budokan finale of Koji Kikkawa’s KIKKAWA KOJI LIVE 2022-2023 “OVER THE 9” tour.
Built around songs from his latest album OVER THE 9, the performance also features LA VIE EN ROSE, Koi wo Tomenaide, the explosive triple guitars of GOOD SAVAGE, and the early classic Silent Cinderella. It records the fiery connection between Kikkawa and his audience. The band’s intense sessions, bringing together seasoned musicians, are another highlight.
A major attraction is the way the recording brings together two differently staged performances. DAY 1 took place before a packed audience. For DAY 2, titled EXTRA SHOOTING LIVE, the entire arena was transformed into a filming set, with numerous cameras including drones and large cranes. Operated cameras on stage capture even the smallest movements, drawing close to the musicians as they give everything to the performance. Images from every direction preserve the excitement and emotion of the tour finale.
