Maesetsu! Opening Act Volume 1 Blu-ray

A new Kagami Yoshimizu show begins! Four young women hoping to become comedians struggle through their everyday lives in this comedy story.

The four nineteen-year-olds, Fubuki Kitakaze, Mafuyu Kogarashi, Rin Shintani and Nayuta Asogi, spend their days and nights working part-time jobs while diligently practicing their comedy routines. They want to make everyone happy through laughter, believing that other people's happiness will make them happy too. Despite working hard under this idealistic banner, the four have yet to get their break.

Their goal is to perform at Namba Grand Kagetsu, the comedy world's equivalent of Nippon Budokan. For now, however, they decide to start closer to home and work toward appearing in the lowest-level Farm Class at Yoshimoto Mugendai Hall in Tokyo's Shibuya district.

They see the active high-school comedy duo JK Cool as their rivals, even though that rivalry exists only in their own minds. JK Cool are also seniors at the school attended by Mafuyu's younger sister Manatsu and her childhood friend Kanae Kanari. Inspired by them, the first-year high-school pair Manatsu and Kanae also begin aiming to become comedians. Eight performers in four duos struggle through their everyday comedy lives. Milk will come spraying out: you cannot hide your laughter!
