Mashin Hero Wataru 2 Special Price Edition Blu-ray Box takes Wataru back to the world he once saved. Although Doakudar has been defeated, his brother Dwarudar now threatens Seikaizan, high above the familiar mountain of Sokaizan. The seven stars that shine there have been corrupted, draining the colour from Sokaizan's rainbow.

Back in his everyday life as an elementary-school pupil, Wataru encounters Ryujinmaru again at the dragon pond and learns that another rescue is needed. Equipped with new items from the dragon princess, he sets off with Himiko and Ryujinmaru, following Shibaraku and Kurama on a new adventure. The box brings together the 1990-1991 television sequel and the Owarinaki Toki no Monogatari OVA.

Supplementary material carried over from the 2013 box includes creditless opening and ending sequences, the Heart no Jumon music clip and commentaries on television episodes 1, 28, 32 and 46, plus the OVA's third episode. Contributors include Mayumi Tanaka, Megumi Hayashibara, Hiroshi Koujina, Kazue Ikura and Urara Takano.

The nine region-free Blu-ray discs provide approximately 1,196 minutes of main programme content in 4:3 1080p, with Japanese Linear PCM stereo audio and no subtitles.
