Seven years after the first Yorlga album, the Imperial Capital returns with new sounds and stories. Noriko Mitose and Yoshitaka Hirota present another chapter in their Japanese retro fantasy literature told through music.

The city prospers through the power of a mysterious mineral known as Yorlga. Its culture carries the romance of the Taisho era, inhabited by people—and by beings that are not human. Blending nostalgic Japanese fantasy with Japanese steampunk, the second chapter paints this world more vividly through an evolved sound and a deeper story.

Yoshitaka Hirota, the distinctive composer of the Shadow Hearts series, gives sound to things that cannot be seen. Noriko Mitose, known for the emotional range of her work on Ar tonelico and Surge Concerto, writes the lyrics and provides the vocals. A second tale infused with strangeness and night now begins.
