Odd Taxi Stage & Musicals

A new Odd Taxi story unfolds on stage, revealing the light and darkness behind the formation of Mystery Kiss. Diamond wa Kizutsukanai was performed at Tokyo’s Theater 1010 from November 8–12, 2023, followed by return performances at Ebina Cultural Hall’s Main Hall on November 25–26. This release records the November 26 performance, including its live-performance footage.

One day in 2019, auditions for a new idol group take place somewhere in Tokyo. From the many hopeful girls, three are chosen: Rui Nikaido, Shiho Ichimura and Yuki Mitsuya. “The group’s name is Mystery Kiss.” Each brings her own dream as they begin days of lessons in preparation for their debut. Yet the successful producer meant to supply their songs never seems motivated, while an ominous secret social-media account begins revealing information only the three of them should know. They are supposed to be companions pursuing the same goal, but discord slowly creeps into their relationships. Another girl watches them: Sakura Wadagaki, who failed the audition and has a dream she cannot surrender either.

The standard edition includes backstage footage, an audio commentary and a booklet.
