Odin Sphere Leifthrasir Basiscape Records Game Music

The fantasy orchestral sound of Odin Sphere returns in this reissue of the original soundtrack. Basiscape, led by Hitoshi Sakimoto, created the music in partnership with Vanillaware, the developer also known for Muramasa and Grand Knights History. The music remains a much-loved part of the fantasy RPG's world.

Alongside the game music, the collection preserves a live-orchestra recording of the main theme and an arrangement by the Irish music band Shanachie. The booklet includes lyrics for the vocal songs and commentary from the composers on every piece, inviting listeners further into its sweeping fantasy setting.

Originally developed by Vanillaware for PlayStation 2 and published by Atlus, Odin Sphere follows five protagonists in a world shaped by Norse mythology. A prophecy of five calamities foretells the end of the world, tying their stories together.
