Odin Sphere Leifthrasir Atlus

Atlus × Vanillaware aim for the ultimate achievement in 2D action RPGs

The Atlus × Vanillaware partnership acclaimed for Dragon's Crown returns with Odin Sphere Leifthrasir, a re-created work that draws out the potential of HD game systems to bring its appeal to perfection.

Polished HD graphics weave an epic story through a breathtakingly beautiful world and the detailed emotional expressions of its characters. Their rich, intricate visual expression becomes still more vivid and overwhelming.

The 2D action RPG systems have also evolved dramatically. There is no need to memorize complicated inputs: simple controls and a more comfortable system let anyone readily enjoy exhilarating action, while offering a deeper experience the more you master them.

Story

The great magical kingdom of Valentine once wielded immense power on the continent of Erion. With the magical crystallization furnace known as the Cauldron as the source of its power, it reached the height of prosperity, only to perish in a single night.

Before long, nations began fighting over the now-ownerless Cauldron, and the flames of war grew fiercer with every passing day. Is the world heading toward its end, just as the prophecy passed down on the continent of Erion foretells?

The many dramas of five protagonists living in a world of Norse mythology are woven into one grand story.

Different ways to play, suited to your own style

Save data can be shared over the network between the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita versions, in the same way as Dragon's Crown on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. You can take your time playing on a large screen at home, then continue while out and about on a portable system.

The game also includes Classic Mode, which fully recreates the PlayStation 2 version of Odin Sphere with only its graphics upgraded to HD. Enjoy demanding, thrilling battles through the original's distinctive systems.

Original first-purchase artbook bonus

Rakuten marks this original bonus as ended. Odin Sphere Leifthrasir Artworks was a deluxe hardcover collection offering a complete view of the game's world through its artwork, with many newly drawn illustrations by Vanillaware staff planned for inclusion. Its listed specifications were B5 size, full color throughout, 64 pages and deluxe hardcover binding. Bonus contents and details could change without notice, and the limited first-purchase supply ended when exhausted. This historical bonus is not guaranteed with a Used copy.
