Dive into a great adventure with the throne at stake!

Every hero is a king. Rulers of their own countries sometimes clash, but unite when it matters to protect their people. With this fresh premise and striking visuals, Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger has drawn an enthusiastic response since its television debut. Now the hugely popular series presents its first theatrical film.

Gira is finally about to become king of Shugoddam! On the day of his coronation, he encounters the first king, Reinior Husty, in Hakabaka, the land of the dead. A battle for the throne begins between the first king who once saved Chikyu and its new king, Gira.

What is human happiness? What does it mean to live? This moving story vividly portrays the conflicts and resolve of those who bear the destiny of kings. The fantastical, otherworldly realm of Hakabaka is also a highlight.

Shido Nakamura brings a commanding presence to Reinior Husty. Popular voice actress Ayane Sakura makes her film debut as Debonica, the guide to the land of the dead, with a passionate performance and beautiful singing. Akiko Hinagata plays Iroki, the former ruler of Toufu, who battles its current ruler, Kaguragi.

At Caucasus Kabuto Castle in Shugoddam, the coronation ceremony is about to begin. The day has finally come for Gira Husty to become king! The other rulers, Yanma, Himeno, Rita and Kaguragi, gather to witness the birth of the new monarch.

Just then, a woman appears before Gira. Her name is Debonica, and she guides people through Hakabaka, the land of the dead. According to her, whenever a new king takes the throne, the ruler of Shugoddam must visit Hakabaka and learn the true history of the country from their ancestors.

Gira and his companions suddenly embark on their great adventure. In the glittering, fantastical realm of the dead, they are welcomed by Shugoddam’s first king, Reinior Husty. Reinior declares that he will return to the world of the living by a certain means and reclaim his throne. The struggle between the first king and the new king begins!

Special features take viewers behind the scenes and include opening-day stage greetings, a cheering-screening talk event, teasers, trailers and promotional footage. The King’s Data File and poster gallery are also included.
