Platinum End Animation

From writer Tsugumi Ohba and artist Takeshi Obata, the team behind Death Note and Bakuman., comes Platinum End, a story of life and death. “I’ll give you hope to live.” Mirai Kakehashi loses his family in an accident and endures a painful life with the relatives who take him in. Despairing of everything, he throws himself from a rooftop on the day of his middle-school graduation—but there he encounters an angel.

Volume 1 contains the first six episodes, accompanied by clean opening and ending videos and two audio commentaries. Episode one features the series’ staff, while episode two brings together cast members Miyu Irino, Yui Ogura and Kaito Ishikawa. The edition’s illustrated packaging, booklet and character cards explore its artwork, characters and production; included physical extras are subject to remaining supplies.
