Platinum End Animation

Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata, the team behind Death Note and Bakuman, tell a story of life and death in Platinum End.

“I’ll give you hope to live.” Mirai Kakehashi lost his family in an accident and endured harsh days with the relatives who took him in. Despairing of everything, he jumps from a building’s rooftop on the day he graduates from middle school. But there, the boy encounters an angel.

This volume includes a special case newly illustrated by character designer Koji Odate, digipak packaging and a 50-page special booklet. The booklet presents opening-sequence storyboards, selected key animation, story and character introductions, staff interviews with Koji Odate and Shinichi Inotsume, and an interview with Kaito Ishikawa, the voice of Kanade Uryu. Original character cards, a teaser promotional video and a staff commentary on episode 7 complete the release.
