Memories shared with friends are something everyone has, yet they are special to each individual. Atelier Ryza tells the story of young people finding what matters to them before they become adults.

A new Atelier world filled with light, shadow and the breath of life

To express the story of these relatable protagonists, the environments use natural light and shadow to make the breath of the world perceptible. The screen presentation has been transformed, setting it apart from earlier Atelier games.

The series' distinctive fantasy expression has also been enhanced, letting newcomers and returning players immerse themselves in this new Atelier world.

A new expressive world of everyday life and adventure

The field maps offer many places and situations where you can feel the breadth of the adventure.

Revamped synthesis and a new way to create

Synthesis, battles and gathering, the systems essential to the Atelier series, have been renewed. A new system also lets you create things that could not be made before.

The familiar synthesis system, which combines ingredients to make items, has been redesigned. The mixing steps can be understood visually, transforming the enjoyment of developing recipes.

A new system for creating previously impossible items is also introduced. Further details were announced in subsequent updates.

Active gathering

Gathering provides the ingredients used in synthesis. In this installment, previously passive gathering becomes a more active process.

Even at the same gathering point, the materials you obtain change according to the gathering tool you choose.

Battles filled with tension

Unlike traditional turn-based command systems, dynamic choices of actions create intense battles.

The battle system also lets you feel stronger bonds with your companions.

An ordinary girl looking beyond her everyday life

Ryza is an ordinary girl, the kind you might find anywhere. Dissatisfied with the unchanging days in her village, she spends time with her friends looking for something interesting or stimulating.

They share their dreams and make plans to leave the village in search of excitement.

One day, Ryza and her companions set out on their first exploration of the opposite shore, a place they are forbidden to visit.

When they reach that shore, a fateful encounter awaits, changing her everyday life.
