When the azure door opens

Will what comes through bring hope—or destruction?

When he awakens, the man has forgotten everything. Unable even to recall where he is or who he is, he enters the 13th Hierarchical City of Kagutsuchi as though being guided there.

He discovers that he is a rebel known as the Grim Reaper, that he possesses an entity called the Azure Grimoire, and that countless bounty hunters and guards from the governing organization are pursuing him.

Feeling a strange sense of déjà vu, he follows his instincts deeper into Kagutsuchi, heading toward the place called the Cauldron in its deepest reaches.

Is this a predetermined harmony retracing his memories—or Centralfiction, a dream seen by God?

New characters join the battle

Alongside the 28 distinctive characters from BlazBlue: Chronophantasma Extend, Naoto Kurogane, Hibiki Kohaku, Nine the Phantom and Hades: Izanami join the roster. Experience heated battles with more than 30 characters.

The story reaches its final chapter

Arcade Mode lets you enjoy battles against computer-controlled opponents while progressing through short stories for individual characters.

Story Mode presents a newly written original tale with powerful performances by an accomplished voice cast. The grand story of the Azure, told on an epic scale since 2008, finally reaches its conclusion.

More than competitive matches

A wide range of modes supports different ways to enjoy the game. Along with versus and practice modes, substantial single-player challenges let you steadily work toward completion.

In addition to the familiar modes from the series, new modes were also announced for this release.
