New characters join the battle

Celica A. Mercury, the heroine of the novels who first appeared in a game in BlazBlue Chronophantasma's Story mode, becomes playable. Lambda-No.11, who was thought to have disappeared in the second game in the series, also joins as a new playable character. With these two additions, the playable roster totals 28 characters.

Comfortable network play with an arcade atmosphere

The network mode that earned the BlazBlue series its reputation for comfortable play evolves further. Familiar, popular functions return, including Network Lobby, where finding an opponent feels like playing in an arcade, and Player Match, which lets you search for opponents under different conditions and settings. Further surprising new network features were also announced for this edition.
