Two 3D Darius titles in an enhanced collection

Darius Cozmic Revelation follows Darius Cozmic Collection with ports of two entries from the series that use 3D graphics.

It includes G-Darius HD, a high-definition port of G-Darius, and Dariusburst Another Chronicle EX+, a port of Dariusburst Another Chronicle EX with additional elements.

New features in Dariusburst Another Chronicle EX+

Dariusburst Another Chronicle EX+ includes all the elements of Dariusburst Another Chronicle EX and adds the following features.

Eight new events have been created specifically for this release and added to Event Mode. Some of these events use six new compositions by ZUNTATA’s Shohei Tsuchiya.

All thirteen Event Mode events that could originally be played only for a limited time in the arcade version are included.

What is Darius?

Darius is a horizontally scrolling shooting game introduced as an arcade title in 1986.

Its innovative cabinet attracted attention with its large format connecting three screens and an audio system incorporating a bass speaker in the bench seat.

Bosses inspired by aquatic creatures such as coelacanths and sperm whales appear in the game and remain popular as defining symbols of Darius.

Following Darius II, the series returned to a dedicated arcade cabinet with Dariusburst Another Chronicle in 2010.

Darius Cozmic Collection was released for Nintendo Switch in 2019 and received a favourable response.

Special Edition physical contents

The original Special Edition includes the soundtrack CD Darius The Omnibus III – Encounter, the official reference book Darius Odyssey – Cozmic Voyager, the Dariusburst Another Chronicle Live in O-EAST –revolt– DVD, and a 1/12-scale papercraft model of the Dariusburst AC arcade cabinet.

A highlight of this edition is the soundtrack CD, featuring new music composed for this release by series composer Hisayoshi Ogura of Hisayoshi Ogura Sound Image Production, inspired by G-Darius, together with six new Dariusburst Another Chronicle EX+ compositions by ZUNTATA’s Shohei Tsuchiya and arrangements by past and present ZUNTATA members.

Reproductions of the three instruction cards used in the arcade version of G-Darius, and additional decorative parts for the 1/12-scale Dariusburst AC cabinet papercraft, accompanied qualifying physical copies at release.

The presence and condition of these physical contents and early-production extras depend on the individual Used copy.
