Three-on-three Dragon Ball battles: build your own team

Fight in three-on-three team battles. Switch the character you control whenever you wish, use assist techniques from your reserve fighters and unleash special attacks with all three characters together for strategic combat.

Assess character traits and compatibility, and freely assemble a team to suit your strategy. Combine characters in ways never seen in the anime and create your own dream team.

Easy controls and powerful combos

Bring Dragon Ball battles into your own hands. Repeated button presses can connect combos all the way to super special attacks, allowing players unfamiliar with fighting games to perform spectacular, powerful techniques through simple controls.

Experienced fighting-game players can take advantage of each character's traits and combine different commands to create strategic battles.

2.5D expression: as if you were moving an anime

At first glance, the game looks like a 2D fighting game. Its character models are built in 3D, however, allowing powerful, distinctive presentation through camera work from many different angles.

Online matches provide varied formats for different situations. Arena Matches let you battle users in the same lobby and enjoy watching matches. World Matches pit you against users around the world.

Party Matches allow six players to participate simultaneously in three-versus-three battles. Each of the six players controls a member of a team. These are among the many modes available.

You and Goku are the protagonists of an original story

The game includes a substantial original story presented with the same ultra high-end anime expression as its battles.

One day, a mysterious group of clones resembling Goku and the other warriors suddenly appears and attacks the world. At the same time, the Super Warriors fall unconscious one after another. A new crisis approaches Goku.

You link your spirit to the fallen warriors, fight alongside them and unravel the mystery of these events.

Experience three arcs: the Super Warrior Arc, beginning with a link to Goku; the Enemy Warrior Arc, centred on Frieza and the enemies who troubled Goku and his companions in the past; and the Android Arc, in which you link to Android 18 to solve the case.

The mysterious Android 21 and the resurrection of Android 16

Android 21 is a new character shrouded in mystery. This scientist has an intellect comparable to Dr. Gero's and appears to be connected to the revival of Android 16, who was destroyed during the Cell Games.

Original creator Akira Toriyama supervised Android 21's design.
