The eleventh adventure: a new beginning

The eleventh main entry in the Dragon Quest series returns to its roots with a story depicting the adventure of a hero.

Combining nostalgia with new discoveries, Dragon Quest XI becomes a new starting point for the series. Originally released for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo 3DS, this is the Japanese PlayStation 4 edition.

And so the hero was called the child of darkness

On the day you, the protagonist, reach your sixteenth birthday, you set out for Cobblestone Tor with your childhood friend Gemma to perform the coming-of-age ceremony required by your village’s tradition.

A certain incident reveals that you are the reincarnation of the legendary hero.
