Earth Defense Force D3Publisher

At last, Earth's final notice arrives. This is more than a simple port: an unprecedented level of despair approaches.

New missions and episodes

New missions and episodes centre on the arrival of the monstrous Erginus and the weapon built to oppose it, the Walking Fortress Balam. The long-awaited confrontation between a giant monster and a giant robot becomes reality in a spectacular battle.

About half of the existing missions rebuilt

Missions are reconstructed with new enemy placements, numbers and appearance patterns. Around 50 percent of the missions receive exciting revisions, including realistic combat in underground areas shrouded in darkness. Allied NPCs are strengthened too: vehicles operated by allied soldiers now join you in combat.

New enemies, weapons and vehicles

Erginus is not the only new threat. Evolved varieties of enormous enemy creatures appear. New countermeasures, including the giant robot Balam and the Depth Crawler for underground combat, bring greater despair and exhilaration. Above all, these additions allow substantially deeper tactics.

Smooth, beautiful Full HD graphics

The game supports 1080p Full HD. Alongside more beautiful, immersive streets and impressive battle scenes, a stable rendering frame rate provides comfortable play.

Japanese import version

This Japanese PlayStation 4 release is compatible with US PlayStation 4 systems as a region-free game. The packaging and manual are in Japanese. Japanese language is supported; any additional languages are unspecified.
